Question 1

How fast can we launch?

Accepted Answer

Most campaigns can begin sending in approximately one week after signup and onboarding.

Question 2

Are these leads exclusive?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your campaign is built around your agency, your recruiting message, and your opportunity.

Question 3

Do you guarantee a certain number of leads?

Accepted Answer

No. Results vary based on your offer, territory, agent type, and market. As a general expectation, a 10,000-email campaign may generate around 15 to 25 recruiting leads, but results can be higher or lower.

Question 4

Do you book calls?

Accepted Answer

Standard plans generate recruiting leads. Booked call programs are available as a custom add-on.

Question 5

Is there a contract?

Accepted Answer

No long-term contracts. Plans are month-to-month and can be canceled anytime.

Question 6

Why should we work with Agency Builder Pro?

Accepted Answer

We feel that it is best to work with an agency who specializes in what you are looking to accomplish. We specialize in helping grow insurance agencies via recruiting and providing the systems, data, tools, and the service of doing just that.

Question 7

What is the best way to get in touch with you?

Accepted Answer

Feel free reaching out to us in any way that suits you best. Many of our clients will send email, call us, or text. We also offer communications via Zoom, booking a call on our calendar, or Slack.

Question 8

How long have you been doing this?

Accepted Answer

The founder has been a licensed insurance agent since 2002. He has been recruiting insurance agents since 2003, and sending emails as a method of recruiting since 2006.

Question 9

What makes cold email better than job boards for recruiting insurance agents?

Accepted Answer

Cold email lets you reach licensed agents who are already working in the industry and aren't actively browsing job boards. Instead of waiting for unlicensed applicants to find a job posting, you're proactively reaching agents who already have what you need: an active license and real production experience. It's also significantly less expensive per hire than job boards, recruiting agencies, or paid advertising.

Question 10

What is the difference between a recruiting lead and a booked call?

Accepted Answer

A recruiting lead is a licensed agent who has responded positively to your outreach and wants more information about your opportunity. We send their details to your team so you can follow up directly. A booked call is a step further: the agent is pre-qualified and scheduled directly onto your calendar, so you walk into a conversation that's already set up. Booked call programs are available as a custom add-on to our standard plans.

Question 11

How much does it cost to recruit an insurance agent?

Accepted Answer

Cost per hire varies significantly depending on the method. Direct outreach to licensed agents through cold email typically runs $1,500 to $3,000 per successful hire, compared to $5,000 to $10,000 or more through job boards, and $10,000 to $25,000 through traditional recruiting agencies. The biggest cost driver isn't the channel itself, it's whether you're reaching licensed agents directly or paying to sort through unlicensed applicants.

Question 12

How long does it take to recruit a licensed insurance agent?

Accepted Answer

With direct outreach and cold email, agencies typically see interested licensed agents responding within 2 to 4 weeks of a campaign launching. Job boards tend to take significantly longer, often 2 to 6 months, because most applicants aren't licensed yet and need to complete licensing before they can produce.

Question 13

Is cold email legal for insurance agent recruiting?

Accepted Answer

Yes, as long as it follows CAN-SPAM Act requirements. That means including accurate sender information, a working opt-out mechanism, and honoring unsubscribe requests immediately. Cold email for B2B recruiting purposes, like reaching licensed insurance agents about a career opportunity, is legal and widely used, but it has to be done correctly and compliantly.

Question 14

What is the best way to recruit insurance agents in 2026?

Accepted Answer

The agencies seeing the strongest results in 2026 are going directly to licensed agents instead of relying on job boards. That typically means a combination of targeted cold email, LinkedIn outreach, and appointment setting, reaching agents who are already licensed and producing rather than waiting for unlicensed applicants to find a job posting and get through licensing.
